名譽顧問 - 羅乃新女士

Honorary Advisor - Ms Nancy Loo

羅乃新女士熱心推動音樂教育,積極與年青人分享其得著及造詣,其感染力及對音樂之熱誠帶動不少後輩領悟到音樂的奧妙;其不少門生亦在音樂界獲得相當成就,蜚聲國際。

羅女士是一位多面藝術家:既是教育工作者、鋼琴家,亦是電台節目主持、戲劇演員、作家。1978年獲選為「香港十大傑出青年」、現任教於香港演藝學院及香港中文大學。

羅女士早期以獎學金入讀茱莉亞音樂學院,受教於Adele Marcus門下;羅氏在該學府取得碩士學位後,又往巴黎及意大利追隨 Vlado Perlenuter及Guido Agosti 學藝;曾在多項國際比賽中獲獎,並於1976年在意大利蒙扎贏取里娜薩拉加略國際鋼琴比賽首獎。期後,更在英國、美國、歐州、北美州及東南亞各地舉行獨奏會及與樂團合作。

在本屆賽事中,羅女士除出任名譽顧問外,亦將分擔部份鋼琴組之評審工作。

Ms Nancy Loo is one of Hong Kong’s most versatile artists, as pianist, radio programme host, actress, writer and educator.  She was a recipient of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award in 1978, and currently teaches piano at The HK Academy for Performing Arts and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. 

Ms Loo attended the Juilliard School on scholarship, where she studied with Adele Marcus. After graduating with a Master’s degree, she studied with Vlado Perlemuter in Paris and Guido Agosti in Italy.  She was the first prizewinner at the Fourth Rina Sala Gallo International Competiion in Monza in 1976 and has won many other international competitions.  Ms Loo has given solo recitals and performed with orchestras in England, Europe, North America and Asia.

Ms Loo has played the piano part for the soundtrack of several films and television series and published two books and a number of recordings.

 

首席評判- 楊習禮先生

Head Juror - Mr Raymond Young

旅居維也納十一年的奧地利籍鋼琴家楊習禮,是備受國際輿論評為才華出眾的香港傑出音樂家之一,其演奏曾被讚賞為「具想像力,富浪漫詩情」、「把技術與音樂融為一體,擅於傳達美的訊息」(《中山報》)、「真摯情感表露無遺,演繹的深度,音色的精緻脫俗,令人深受感動」(《快報》)。楊先生於一九九四年第五屆羅馬國際鋼琴大賽奪魁,亦在一九九五年德國博倫舒威國際音樂節獲頒發「樂壇新秀獎」。演奏足跡遍及歐、亞,在無數演奏會中均獲得樂評及觀眾的極高讚賞。

楊先生出生於香港,在奧地利國立維也納音樂及表演藝術大學修讀鋼琴演奏和伴奏,獲鋼琴演奏及伴奏碩士學位、演奏家文憑、伴奏家文憑及鋼琴教師文憑;並在該校主修音樂理論及歌劇指導。楊習禮先生是首位獲奧地利政府頒發最高級別獎學金的香港鋼琴家,更因其成就及多方推薦,獲授予該國的公民資格。

在香港,楊先生是一位多才多藝、活躍於音樂界的鋼琴家,不但擔當獨奏和室樂演出,又為歌唱家和樂器演奏家作伴奏、參加電台節目的演出、在本港和外地主持大師班和講座,及在大型音樂比賽中歷任評判,並任教於香港演藝學院、浸會大學、中文大學和香港大學的音樂系。

楊習禮先生不單出任大會首席評判,在籌辦、策劃以至賽事進行上,給予意見;亦會為本屆賽事分擔部份鋼琴組之評審工作。

Hailed by the press as a pianist with “imagination and romantic poetry”, “interpretative insight, deep communicative power and exquisite tone”, Mr Raymond Young was the Gold Medalist in the International Piano Competition in Rome, Italy; and was honoured with the “Foerderpreis” at the Braunschweig International Music Festival in Germany.

As the first pianist from Hong Kong to be awarded the highest scholarship from the Austrian Government, Young graduated with a Master of Arts degree in both performance and accompaniment, and a Diploma in piano pedagogy from the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, a city where he lived for eleven years.  Besides piano studies, he also majored in music theory and opera coaching.  His teachers include Paul Badura-Skoda and Joseph Banowetz among others.  His numerous concerts in Europe and Asia over the years have won him great acclaim.  On account of his achievements and numerous recommendations, he was also granted Austrian citizenship. 

As one of Hong Kong’s most active and versatile pianists, Mr Young gives solo and chamber recitals, accompanies singers and instrumentalists, and conducts master classes and lectures in Hong Kong and overseas.  He also adjudicates in many competitions and is currently on the piano faculties of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong.

Mr Raymond Young not only involves in adjudicating, but also takes the role as Head Juror and has been giving valuable support to found this first Competition for the youth of Hong Kong.

Introduction to Adjudicators 

 

所有西樂及唱歌項目之評判均須於賽前向大會申報作賽學生資料,以安排其學生於其他評判之組別作賽,以保公正。All adjudicators of western instrument and singing classes have made declaration of their participating students prior to the Competition.  Concerned students are arranged to be adjudicated by other jurors.

 

陳子愉先生 Mr Ringo Chan

陳子愉先生先後畢業於加拿大安大略省皇后大學(Queen’s University),獲榮譽音樂學士銜,及於安大略省西安大學(The University of Western Ontario)修讀音樂碩士課程。在學期間,陳氏主修音樂教育及長笛演奏,師承多位長笛教育名家包括  羅拔.艾特根 (Robert Aitken)及 杜尼達.加舒浩(Donelda Garshore)。 並於1989年起於加拿大多倫多教授長笛及樂理課程。 

1991年回港後,陳氏逐步建立一套有效的管弦樂教學法,獲邀為超過20多間本港中小學設計及建立管弦樂訓練課程,為各所由其領導之學校建立起具特色之管弦音樂文化。

陳氏經常邀請享負盛名之大師到港主持多項不同類型之活動,包括演奏會、大師班、工作坊以至樂團訓練等活動,積極推動及提升本地管樂藝術水平之發展及普及性。

2004年,陳先生為本港首位引入長笛家族中最巨大及最低音之倍低音長笛及倍大低音長笛之長笛家,創造出嶄新奇特之音響效果,為本港作曲家提供了創作的新領域。

此外,陳氏獲美國國家長笛協會之邀請,委任為該協會於之亞洲區項目通訊專員,在其季刊Flute Quarterly報導亞洲區管樂及長笛活動狀況。  

Studied under the tutelage of the world-renowned Canadian flutist Robert Aitken,  Mr Ringo Chan received his music education from Queen's University and the University of Western Ontario in Canada.  Since returning to Hong Kong in 1991, Mr. Chan has been invited to be the Director for a number of flute choirs and ensembles. 

Mr Chan has been actively promoting the quality and educational level of wind instruments for the youngsters, amateurs as well as professionals by inviting world-renowned flutists to Hong Kong for a wide variety of activities ranging from concerts, workshops, master classes to summer camps.

In 2003, Mr Chan was the first flutist to introduce the contra-bass flute and subcontra-bass flutes to local scene.  It has developed a whole new array of orchestral music and given new light to composing possibilities for Hong Kong composers. 

Moreover, Mr. Chan is appointed by the National Flute Association (NFA) as its Regional Representative in Asia, for providing orchestral and flute news for the NFA quarterly magazine. 

蔡文燦先生 Mr Marcus Choy

蔡文燦先生畢業於香港演藝學院專業表演文憑,主修聲樂演唱;師承已故著名歌唱家聶明康先生及女高音徐慧女士;留學荷蘭海牙皇家音樂學院進修早期音樂研究生演唱課程,師承世界著名假聲男高音歌唱家贊斯﹑著名早期音樂女高音歌唱家費爾蔓及凱尼、著名英國假聲男高音歌唱家史德福。在學期間屢獲頒授獎學金。

蔡先生曾於多國演出,如荷蘭皇家歌劇院﹑荷蘭海牙皇家音樂學院﹑英國皇家音樂學院布頓劇院﹑英國皇家音樂專科學院演奏廳﹑法國及西班牙等地,足跡遍及歐洲多個國家。蔡先生回港後亦活躍於本地演出,曾於香港聖約翰教堂座堂及香港演藝學院多次舉行聲樂演唱會。

蔡先生積極參與本港之音樂教育工作,包括在大專院校﹑中小學﹑國際學校及教育機構進行講學,舉辦研討會和擔任比賽評判等音樂工作。

Mr Marcus Choy graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he received the Professional Diploma majoring in vocal performance under the tutelage of Michael Rippon and Katusha Tsui-Fraser.  Mr Choy then attended the postgraduate Early Music singing studies programme at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague in the Netherlands under the tutelage of Michael Chance, Jill Feldman and Manon Heijne and Ashley Stafford.  During his studies, Choy has received numerous scholarships from the Academy, including the ‘Hong Kong Welsh Male Choir Scholarship’ and ‘Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship.’

Choy has established himself as one of the foremost countertenors of his age, appearing extensively as a soloist in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain and France.  He had been invited to give performances at the Royal Opera in the Netherlands, the Britten Theatre at the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music in London, as well as vocal recitals at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, St John’s Cathedral in Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts

Since his return to Hong Kong, Mr Choy has been engaged in music education.  He gave lectures at several tertiary institutions and international schools such as the HK Polytechnic University and the HK International Institute of Music, held seminars and was adjudicator in many music competitions.

何偉玲女士 Ms Rita Ho

何偉玲女士畢業於英國京士頓大學音樂系,獲頒榮譽學位。致力鋼琴及音樂教學工作逾二十五年。憑著豐富經驗及優秀學生成績,於1994年獲邀參加”Associated Board Centenary Travel Grant Scholarship” 選拔。先後考獲英國皇家音樂學院聯合委員會鋼琴演奏高級文憑証書及倫敦聖三一音樂學會專業演奏文憑。

近年,何女士積極推動音樂教育,籌辦多元化的音樂教育活動,經常邀請本港及海外著名鋼琴家及教育家到港,引進各地優質的音樂考試及嶄新的鋼琴教學法;此外,何氏亦活躍參與亞洲及國際音樂研討會及教育會議的活動,致力培育新一代學生及鋼琴老師。

郭婷女士 Ms Christina Kwok

郭婷女士5歲起學琴,10歲已取得少年音樂獎學金並入讀香港演藝學院,期間她多次在香港音樂節中的鋼琴獨奏和協奏比賽中贏取殊榮;15歲獲倫敦聖三一學院頒發鋼琴演奏文憑。

1998年郭氏於香港中文大學攻讀鋼琴演奏, 接受 David Gwilt 教授及 Mary Wu 博士的督導, 1999年,她獲取獎學金選為代表香港在日本霧島音樂節中演奏。郭氏在畢業後取得香港皇家音樂學院的獎學金, 並於倫敦皇家音樂學院 (Royal College of Music) 繼續研究課程, 師承 John Barstow 及  Yonty Solomon。繼而憑著香港賽馬會音樂及舞蹈信託基金,在美國羅徹斯特大學 (University of Rochester) 的伊士曼音樂學院(Eastman School of music) 完成鋼琴演奏及文學碩士課程, 師承 Professor Barry Snyder 及 Fernardo Laires。

郭女士在音樂活動表現積極,除了教育工作外,亦常被邀主持音樂講座、在香港電台節目中獨奏、受訪及擔任評判等。

Ms Christina Kwok began playing piano at the age of five and became a Scholarship student at the Academy for Performing Arts at the age of 10.  During her school years, she won several honours in both piano solos and concertos competitions.

In 1999, Ms Kwok was selected to represent Hong Kong to perform in the Kirishima International Music Festival in Japan with full scholarship.  After graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Ms Kwok pursuit her post-graduate course at the Royal College of Music in London with the scholarship offered by Royal College of Music (Hong Kong) and furthered her studies for Master Degree in Piano Performance and Literature in University of Rochester in the States with the full scholarship.  Her teachers included Prof David Gwilt and Dr Mary Wu.

Ms Kwok is active in music activities including teaching, being interviewed by media, giving recitals, lectures and seminars on piano performance.

林新駿先生 Mr Alan Lam

林新駿先生現為香港浸會大學小提琴講師及香港小交響樂團團員。

畢業於香港演藝學院,小提琴家林新駿於1997年榮獲香港賽馬會獎學金,遠赴美國印第安納州大學進修,兩年後在該學府獲取了音樂碩士學位。

林氏多次參與世界各地主辦的音樂節;亦曾為芝加哥城市樂團和美國新世界交響樂團成員。

回港後,林先生經常作個人或室樂表演,及獲香港電台第四台邀請錄製及播放其演出。本年四月,林先生獲香港癌症基金邀請,支持善舉,在其週年籌款音樂會中獻藝,大獲好評。

Mr Alan Lam is currently a member of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, and a faculty member of the Hong Kong Baptist University.

Graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, violinist Lam Sun-Chun received the Hong Kong Jockey Club scholarship to pursue his studies in the Indiana University at Bloomington in 1997, where he earned a Master degree in Music two years later.

Mr Lam has participated in many international music festivals and was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the New World Symphony in Miami, USA under the directorships of Daniel Barenboim and Michael Tilson Thomas.

Since his return to Hong Kong, Mr Lam has performed numerous solo recitals, chamber concerts and recorded for the Radio 4 of RTHK.  He was invited to perform in the Hong Kong Cancer Fund Concert in April this year which won many acclaims from the audience. 

李蔚麗女士 Ms Sally Lee

李蔚麗女士早年畢業於香港音樂專科學校,主修鋼琴。隨後於Kingston University以Outstanding Performance in Organ畢業,獲頒音樂學士學位。同年於香港文化中心舉行個人管風琴演奏會,又於翌年接受母校邀請於英國Royal Albert Hall 舉行管風琴演奏會。

李女士曾任小學教師,任教期間,獲公開大學頒﹝傑出教學獎﹞。李老師現於浸會大學修讀音樂碩士課程,主修幼兒音樂。

李女士在港活躍於音樂教育及師資培訓工作,現任多個兒童合唱團及詩班之指揮。並經常接受不同樂團之邀請,擔任管風琴/鋼琴伴奏及客席指揮。

梁德穎女士 Ms Leung Tak Wing

Ms Leung Tak Wing graduated with entrance scholarships from Guildhall School of Music on the Master in Orchestral Training.  In early years, Ms Leung had won several scholarships at HK Academy for Performing Arts for the Bachelor studies of Music.

Ms Leung is an active artist who is a regular deputies in a number of orchestras, including the HK Philharmonic Orchestra, the Macao Orchestra, etc.

Leung engages in teaching and is also a freelance musician.  She frequently performs and plays with orchestras in London.  Performing venues included Barbican Concert Hall and Wigmore Hall.

潘穎芝女士 Ms Letty Poon

Ms Letty Poon is currently the Artistic Director of Hong Kong International Cello Association, and a faculty at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Baptist University of Hong Kong.

Ms Poon possesses degrees in cello performance and musicology and was educated in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the Stony Brook University, USA and the University of Hong Kong.  Her main teachers include Lui Qi-Ling, Professor Ray Wang, cellist Colin Carr and the Emerson String Quartet.  She has participated in many international music festivals.

Poon performs regularly in Hong Kong.  The most recent engagement was an invitation by Theatre du Pif to compose music for solo cello and live performance for the theatre production Hanako’s Pillow.  In March 2009, Poon will perform Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra in Taipei.

Ms Poon was the adjudicator in many international competitions, including the 6th National Cello Competition, and also the 2nd & 3rd ‘Ai Qin Bei’ Cello Competition in China.

譚建盈女士 Ms Karrie Tam

Ms Karrie Tam is a music educator of over 20 years from Canada, scholarship winner of numerous competitions with Distinction Honours Standings, an ARCT Diploma graduate in piano performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto.  Ms Tam also holds a Diploma in Piano Performance and a Licentiate Diploma in Piano Performance from the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music, London, England.  Her teachers include, Dr. Eugene Skovoronikov, Alejandro Lim, Choi Sown-Le, Raymond Young Chap Lai.  After graduating from University of British Columbia with her music degrees, Ms Tam furthered her post-graduate studies specializing in Child’s Psychology. 

Through her inspirational and motivating style of piano teaching to children and adult, Ms Tam gained much reputation as one of the youngest, and most experienced piano teachers in Vancouver in 1990s.  She was also an executive member of the Registered Music Teacher Association and a generous scholarship donor for many competitions.  Ms Tam actively contributed and promoted music through organizing competitions, festivals, concerts. 

Apart from her teaching career, Ms Tam is also involved in giving music seminars, coordinating and adjudicating in competitions, and managing a reputable artist agency for international classical musicians.

With the experience and insights gained from all aspects of piano playing, Ms Tam is enthusiastic in sharing her expertise with piano lovers.  Besides adjudicating, Ms Tam has contributed much to our Foundation as one of the Founding Advisors of the Competition. 

謝暖華先生 Mr Jackson Tse

謝暖華先生畢業於英國京士頓大學及香港演藝學院,主修低音長號及教學法。在學期間,多次獲得獎學金到海外交流學習,並曾與多位海外名家及多個樂團同台演出,當中包括亞洲青年交響樂團、香港小交響樂團,香港管弦樂團…..等。93年更獲邀於演藝學院的夏季音樂節中舉行獨奏會,並獲好評。

除參與演奏外,謝先生現積極推動學校音樂教育,包括訓練及策劃中小學管樂團、管弦樂團及牧童笛樂隊等,亦協助發展音樂創藝。

謝先生曾任小學老師,並創辦牧童笛樂團,並於香港校際音樂節中榮獲十屆冠軍。

謝先生近年帶領協恩中學管樂團及聖保祿中學管弦樂團到多所學校舉行普及音樂會,鼓勵學生利用音樂去服務社區、關壞別人。更與學生組織室樂小組,積極投入義務工作。

謝先生每月亦於《音樂技術》雜誌中撰文,推廣古典音樂。

王南先生 Mr Wang Nan

王南先生出身於武漢,成長在一個藝術之家,11歲時開始跟隨母親謝怡配教授學習鋼琴。現為香港一位知名的鋼琴教師,多年來潛心教學,在業內享有極高聲譽。自1992年起,一直任教於香港演藝學院鍵盤系。王先生亦經常擔任音樂比賽的評判、主持大師班及講座,並積極參與音樂會活動。 

畢業於香港演藝學院的王南早年留學歐洲,曾先後就讀匈牙利布達佩斯李斯特音樂學院及奧地利維也納國立藝術學院,師承著名鋼琴家巴杜拉.斯可達教授(Paul Badura–Skoda);1988年到港,曾跟隨郭嘉特先生繼續深造。 

王先生喜愛作曲和文學寫作,曾創作了超過30首大、小合唱聖詩,不少作品帶給觀眾極大的震撼和感動。而王南先生之著作《讓孩子愛上音樂 》亦獲得各界一致讚賞。

黃偉榮先生 Mr Stephen Wong

Born in Hong Kong, Mr Stephen Wong was trained at the Royal College of Music (London, UK) and received his Master degree in Music at McGill University in Canada.  His formal teachers include Miss Margaret Lynn, Miss Patricia Carroll, Miss Ruth Gerald and Mr Dale Bartlett.

Mr Wong won the McGill Concerto Competition in 1991 and also the Jardine Matheson music scholarship and McGill University music faculty scholarship.

In 1990s, Mr Wong taught piano at McGill University as well as being the chamber music and vocal coach for the music faculty.  His trio has performed extensively across Canada and made frequent recordings for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.  Mr Wong also performed in Aspen Music Festival, Marlboro Music Festival and Rome Chamber Music Festival.

Since his return to Hong Kong in 2000, Wong has been very active in performing and teaching.  Apart from being a soloist, Wong is a much sought-after chamber pianist for instrumentalists, vocalists and choirs.  His piano partners include Miss Josephine Cheung and Miss Verna Yeung.   They have made recordings for RTHK 4 and performed in numerous events.  Mr Wong also played the famous soprano Madam Ella Kiang in various charity concerts. 

Currently, Mr Wong teaches at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Institute of Education and has substantial adjudicating experience in international and local music competitions.

莫偉樑先生

莫偉樑先生畢業於香港演藝學院中樂系,主修古箏。先後取得文憑、音樂榮譽學士學位及音樂碩士學位。

曾赴北京參加第一屆「龍音盃」中國民族樂器古箏國際大賽少年組,獲得優秀獎及獎學金,並被選為香港代表在北京中央音樂學院演出及中央電視台播放。莫先先曾與多個樂團合作,包括香港中樂團、香港演藝學院中樂團等,並多次應邀赴海外擔任獨奏演出,足跡遍及歐亞各地,包括維也納、柏林、法蘭克福、布魯塞爾、海牙、北京、上海等地。

黎家棣先生

黎家棣先生畢業於香港演藝學院中樂系,先後取得文憑、深造文憑,並以優異成績(Distinction)獲頒專業文憑。曾參與多個樂團合作,包括香港中樂團、香港演藝學院中樂團;並分別於倫敦、布拉格、華沙、布達佩斯、布魯塞爾、海牙、柏林、法蘭克福、維也納、上海、新加坡等地作獨奏演出。

張偉鋒先生

張偉鋒先生畢業於香港演藝學院中樂系,雙主修二胡及板胡。曾先後隨多個樂團遠赴美國洛杉磯及拉斯維加斯、新加坡、台灣、北京、新加坡、馬來西亞及歐洲多個國家演出並擔任獨奏及領奏。

陳子晉先生

陳子晉先生畢業於香港演藝學院中樂系音樂學士(榮譽)學位,主修笛子。曾為香港青年彈撥中樂團吹管聲部長、香港青年中樂團團員,經常於外地演奏,足跡包括英國、匈牙利、捷克、波蘭、德國、奧地利、荷蘭、日本、馬來西牙、新加坡、中國等。陳氏現於香港中文大學研究院音樂學部修讀哲學碩士研究生課程,主修民族音樂學。
